FCS is influenced by the Filipino culture and traditions and as such, is built as a tribe.

To become an instructor, it takes the approval of all ranking members that are present at the time
כדי לקבל דרגת מדריך, יש לזכות באישורם של כל בעלי הדרגה (מדריכים, גוראים, לאקנים) אשר נוכחים באותו הזמן.
When rank is given, it’s seldom to one person; at least two earn rank so they’ll have a kapatid (brother) to grow with and rely on.
לעיתים נדירות אדם מקבל דרגה (מדריך) לבדו. בדרך כלל דרגה ניתנת לפחות לשני אנשים במקביל, כדי שיהיה להם "אח" לגדול איתו ולסמוך עליו בהמשך הדרך
